Hans Wertinger

Hans Wertinger (1465 – 1533) was a German painter from the late Gothic and Renaissance period, renowned for his portraits which he often adorned with garlands. Wertinger is considered a significant representative of the Altlandshut painting school.

In London in 2008, his work "Portrait of a gentleman, bust-length, in a red doublet with a brown fur cloak" was sold for £18,500.
